Meadow Lane Lodge and Cottages does not have an on-line booking system available. We please ask that you contact us through the email listed above and in our "Contact Us" section, by fax, or by the phone number above.

General Information

Guests staying in The Lodge & Swiggle should proceed directly to their room.  Room keys are in the doors.  Guests who have reserved a cottage must stop at the Check-In Shed located on the left side of our driveway.  There you will find your check-in packet.  Included in the packet are directions to your cottage.  Cottage keys are in the front door of each cottage.

Check-in time for all accommodations is 3:00 PM & Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Policy for Cancellations & Changes for The Cottages
Due to our large number of advance reservations, cancellations & changes must be received by email or direct conversation (no voice mail) 10 days prior to the check in date otherwise the credit card on file will be charged for the entire amount of the reserved stay unless we are able to rebook the cottage.

Cancellations/changes must be received by email or direct conversation (no voice mail) 48 hours before the date of your arrival otherwise the credit card on file will be charged for 1 night, at the 1 night rate, for your reserved room or rooms.  No Exceptions.

Children
The Lodge: No Children Under 8 Years of Age
All Other Cottages: Children Welcome.
No charge for children under 5.

Miscellaneous Information
Our cottages are fully equipped; linens, towels, basic kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, silverware, glasses, paper towels, coffee maker, coffee, etc are provided.  All cottages are air-conditioned.  Rates are subject to sales & lodging tax.  A continental breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, juices, fruit, cereals and homemade breads and muffins is offered daily to our Lodge guests.  Lodge rooms, including Swiggle, do not have cooking capabilities.  Swiggle, however, has a small refrigerator, DirecTV and a phone in the room.

Payment
Personal and travelers checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover all accepted.

Pets and Horses
We only allow dogs at the Granary and River House. There is a fee of $60 per dog. Dogs are not allowed at the tennis court/swimming pool area or the barnyard. We do not allow more than 2 dogs per cottage. Horses are welcome. We offer horse stalls for $25 per night with mucking and bedding. There is water in the barn but no hay is provided.

Reservations & Deposits
A reservation obligates both Meadow Lane and the guest for the entire length of the reserved stay.  Reservations are made on a “first come, first serve basis”.  We do not “hold” reservations.  A reservation is confirmed only when we receive personal information (address, telephone number, etc) and a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) with an expiration date later than the reservation date.  You will be offered the opportunity to change your method of payment during your stay or at check out.  The card on file will only be charged if you depart without giving us another form of payment. 

Smoking
Smoking is absolutely prohibited in the Lodge, in the Cottages, at the Deck, at the Barn and in the Barnyard..

Suggested items to bring
Bathing suits, binoculars, bug spray, camera, charcoal & lighter fluid for the barbeque pit located at the swimming hole & the charcoal grill at your cottage, fly fishing gear, hiking boots or shoes, jacket or sweater for our cool summer evenings, mountain bikes, river towels, river shoes, tennis shoes, tennis equipment, sunscreen and most importantly if you have allergies or are allergic to bee stings, grass, hay, etc, remember to bring appropriate medications.
